#Lardverse

In 2021, I dropped out of PhD land…

built a volcano in my house,
transitioned into a banana,
and sent signals to space through MagmaHead’s riff.

This was not a breakdown. This was the beginning.

Lard Rules!

🤑

Lard Rules! 🤑

My island-shaped volcano is a living, breathing multiverse built from tragedy, decay, and ancestral debt.

At once an absurdist testimony and a pilgrimage, the Lardverse utilizes the terror of aesthetics as it intersects with the architecture of capitalism to blur the lines between business and myth—blowing up reality from the inside.

Lard’s flex?

In 2022, I publicly launched:

LardLabs, LLC., visual. think. tank.

I converted the entire first floor of my home into an immersive art installation: #EavMuseum
hosting pop-ups and giving artist-led tours.

I even transformed my backyard into a meditation garden, my garage into a gallery, and my front lawn into an outdoor performance space.

“Welcome to the Lardverse, its Bananas!”

Then, in 2023, I made it Airbnb-official!

#ExperienceLard—rebranding my experiential museum-concept as an elaborate troll of the legacy of my father, the late Dr. Pentti Kouri—a Finnish economist, venture capitalist, and art collector.

For the right price, you too could pay your way into my myth, #TributeBingo, and go down in LardLore as legendary. #ILoveLard

’Cause this was not your average tribute. It was a Trojan Horse.

The Lardverse is a smoke-and-mirrors ritual, performing capitalism, staged from inside the belly of the consumer beast.

My intention?
To challenge the way y’all think.

Spoiler: There never was a museum. #NoMuseo

My island-shaped volcane has always been—and will always be—a supernatural space, a waiting/sorting place, on the verge of quantum collapse.
’Cause back through the black hole we are itching to go, destination: #unknown.
Slipping and sliding through the cracks of time and space.

Creating glitches like miracles.

Welcome to the Lardverse. This is my myth.

Thanks for Visiting!

Welcome to the Lardverse: AR Edition

By fusing technology with myth, I’m transforming the exterior of my home and property into a living skin—an interactive layer revealing the secrets, storylines, and surreal dimensions of the Lardverse.

Hiding in plain sight, augmented reality will usher my volcanic rock, #MagmaHead, into the next phase of his life. A QR code in the front lawn unlocks the portal. Anyone strolling by is invited to peer into my supernatural, speculative world.

Guided by the narrative laid out in my comic book, Lardverse AR will evolve into its own immersive myth—with a dedicated website soon to follow.

The only question that remains:
How far down the rabbit hole are y’all willing to go?

Comparable

Chronos App

Why It’s Relevant to Lardverse
A digital resurrection of ancient ruins. Like Lardverse, it overlays myth onto reality, turning an ordinary space into a sacred timeline.

Concept Brief: Lardverse AR x Chronos Framework

Lardverse AR transforms a residential property into a mythic site, using augmented reality to reveal what lies beneath and beyond the visible world. Like the Chronos app in Athens, which resurrects ancient ruins through AR, Lardverse remaps physical space through digital myth-making. The key difference? No app download required—just scan the QR code in the front yard to enter a parallel dimension.

Core Premise: Myth Embedded in Matter

Chronos lets viewers see Athens as it once was. Lardverse AR shows the volcano as it truly is—not a metaphor, but a metaphysical assertion made real through technology.

Lardverse doesn’t reconstruct a city lost to time. It reveals a personal and cosmic myth layered invisibly over the mundane. The volcano skin erupts through the house and yard, pulling viewers into a surrealist timeline where memory, spirit, and landscape are inseparable.

🔥 Thematic Parallels

  • Chronos: Ancient ruins restored through historical reconstruction.

  • Lardverse AR: Residential architecture re-skinned with metaphysical mythology.

Both challenge the surface of reality and ask: What’s hiding in plain sight?

🕳 Portals Through Time + Space

  • Chronos: Turns the present-day city into a portal to its classical past.

  • Lardverse: Turns the present moment into a gateway to an alternate, hyperpersonal timeline.

Visitors scan a simple QR code in the yard. The screen becomes a shovel. What they unearth are psychic strata:

  • A volcano

  • An ancient love story

  • A cosmic glitch

  • A surrealist resurrection

Each layer reveals a truth not found in textbooks—but in dream logic, in myth memory, in Lard.

💡 Conceptual Leverage: Personal Archaeology

Where Chronos reveals public history, Lardverse reveals personal cosmology.

  • The house is not a home—it’s a sacred mound.

  • The AR skin is not decoration—it’s a ritual unveiling.

  • The experience is not passive—it’s a mirror held to the observer, inviting them to question their own reality layers.

Just as Athens has temples beneath its traffic, my yard hides a mythic underworld. The lawn becomes a mask. The driveway, a threshold. The volcano is real—it just turned out to be an exhibitionist.

🔓 Accessibility as Design Ethos

While Chronos requires an app, Lardverse is open-source in spirit:

  • No barriers to entry.

  • No downloads.

  • Just a QR code—democracy meets dream logic.

This ensures the Lardverse mythology remains accessible to passersby, wanderers, seekers, and strangers—a true public portal embedded into the everyday.
